Known Limitations with Xero’s Invoicing API

Xero has come a long way since it first started out in 2006. While it has grown exponentially since then, their developer team have been inundated with various features and requests. Hence, there are certain features that are not yet available to us and you can help us get our message across to Xero.

The current limitations we face when syncing Xero with Invoice Away are

  • Credit Notes can’t be marked as sent in Xero (we mark them as Sent in our database, but we are unable to make this flow through to Xero as a result of their API. You can lend your voice here to make this happen)\
  • Credit Notes online URL can’t be retrieved from Xero – (You can lend your voice here to make this happen)
